Go during Happy Hour to get some Awesome Deals. The servers are friendly, the food is great. We got a Stinky Roll (a must if you love garlic) and a Titanic which was delicious. My daughter loved the happy hour California rolls. The Calamari tempura happy hour appetizer is surprisingly filling. It was full for dinner but we didn't wait more then a few minutes. This place is Definitely worth checking out.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Kimu Japanese Restaurant in Long Beach. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The sushi was especially impressive, with high-quality ingredients and generous portions. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The restaurant has a clean, comfortable atmosphere that makes it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Service was prompt, and everything we ordered exceeded expectations. If you're looking for delicious Japanese cuisine in Long Beach, I highly recommend Kimu. I'll definitely be coming back!

The Discovery: I was originally headed to Roscoe’s, but after a few days of heavy fried food, I decided to pivot to something cleaner. I’m so glad I did, this place is a total hidden gem. The Food: The quality is outstanding. I tried the Bulgogi and several hand rolls, and everything was incredibly fresh. You can tell the owners take pride in the preparation. Even though it's a Japanese-focused menu, the Korean ownership influence shines through in the depth of flavor, especially in the Bulgogi.

This place is great for a variety of special rolls and good service. We had the spicy edamame and it was quite spicy rather than the mild kick! The lollipop roll was meh and hard to maintain its integrity. The sunshine roll was really good along with the rainbow roll. The sensual pleasure roll with scallop was decent. The service was great and the staff was very attentive. The shop was very lively and had good dinner vibes of loud but enjoyable. The parking is a bit tough if you can't find any on their lot.

Solid 4's all around. We came in at 4pm right when they closed for lunch and they were super generous to still let us eat. From the outside it's deceiving and looks like a square building and black our windows but inside is really nice. You can sit at the bar style right in front of the sushi chef (we did) or in the dining room. We had the spicy salmon and spicy tuna and the special roll with Salmon sashimi. All with great quality and presentation. Me personally thought it was a touch to spicy and the salmon sashimi but the crazy spicy salmon roll was incredible. The only reason for the 4 stars are for that and the $85 bill afterwards. Friendly people, good sushi, good environment.
